"Struck down by the sword of a hero, let me fall; Steel in my heart and laughter on my lips!" -Edmund Rostand, Cyrano de Bergerac, Act V.

(Based on the picture to the left, you may think me in a moment of deep and profound thought, pondering things like the nature of matter, the mind, the universe, time, space, etc.  What was really going through my head at this point was "How the hell am I going to get down from here?"  I figure honesty should be the best policy in this case.)

These are just some links to things of interest:

Comics - One of my more favorite pastimes.  I actually don't collect to resell, just to read and check out the good art du jour.

SETI - These folks are looking to prove that we are not alone in the universe.

The Philadelphia Experiment - This is an interesting site of cool links relating to the government cover-up back in the 1940s involving space/time experiments.

South Park - Sex, death, and flatulence.  No more need be said.

Ultimate Frisbee - A somewhat recent activity I've picked up.  I play with a bunch of friends during the summer and it's always a good time.

Magic:  The Gathering - A card game that's fallen somewhat out of popularity but I still like to play for fun.

The "other" Joe Amato - He's some kind of race car driver or something.

Online I.Q. Tests - I'm still under the belief that there are too many aspects of unmeasurable intelligence for the term "I.Q" to have any real meaning, but there are definitely some interesting things to be found here.

Edmund's Automobile Buyer's Guides - Excellent resource for getting the real deal on pretty much any new or used car.  Make sure you don't get screwed at the dealership.

Movielink - The place to go to see when and where your favorite flick is opening.  You can even buy your tickets online.  Pretty slick.

1-800-FLOWERS - Yup, you can now score many brownie points with your significant other while sitting on your rear by ordering and having flowers delivered online.  You can also order chocolate and balloons and such.

MapQuest - A so-so service that can help you find where you need to go.  I've had problems with it in the past, so it doesn't get my full endorsement.

Tom's Hardware Guide - This Tom dude has a bunch of great PC-related info on his site that goes into good detail about hot new hardware.  He's got reviews, comparision tests, technology overviews, and so forth.  Definitely worth checking out.

Taekwondo Poomse - This is a great link that illustrates all of the various poomse (forms) for every belt level in Taekwondo.
