Responsible for supporting pan-Pearson initiatives including leading the eReader platform services consolidation effort, acting as technical lead for Pearson Higher Ed for the pan-Pearson 'work-in-progress' content data store, and subject matter expert on interactive and assessment content. Lead architect for eight Pearson Higher Ed projects, encompassing assessment, interactives, video, eReader apps, platforms, and capabilities, and content creation and delivery workflows. Supported dozens of teams, across architecture, dev, product, qa, editorial, and senior management.

Designed and developed the Brix library, a highly customizable javascript library and web service infrastructure for instructional interactives and assessment content. Worked in D3.js and Google Closure client code and Node.js and Redis servers hosted on AWS. Collaborated with over a dozen teams in integrating this library and corresponding services with Pearson learning applications and content authoring systems.

Developed features for the Mastering application, an online tutorial, homework, and assessment system for college students. Led development on the Organic Chemistry feature, integrating the perl-based Mastering application with a Java web service used to evaluate student drawn chemical structures. Co-led redesign of the Mastering content authoring system, including prototyping, technical evaluation of NoSQL DBs, Sinatra, Node.js, and JavaScript MV* frameworks, architectural definition and initial development.
