2010 Notes

Went to Pine Hill on 11/6/09 (Ciderday this year). Arrived about 10:30am
and no trouble getting juice, although I did have to wait behind four
people from Jersey getting 100 gallons and a dude from VT getting
about the same.
$3.75 per gallon if you buy five gallons. 25 cents less if you buy
more than 50, which I of course did not.
The sugar is higher this year, in at 1.053 and 1.055, which is great. The acid is also very high, both at 3.2, which isn't as great. I'm not sure I'll have anything else to blend it down but we'll see. As a result, I don't think I'll add any sugar this year, as I'm so close to 1.060 anyway, and I'm hoping to have some sort of cooling facility when the temperature gets higher next summer anyway.
